My friend once called it a party, and I think she's on to something. Sometimes, one needs to stay away from the constant party for several reasons, such as work or study or just some needed general alone time. I want to get back to letters and emails and phone conversations. More human contact. Of course, there was each a time when a letter, a phone conversation and an email was not considered human contact. I feel like each of them are more so than Facebook. At least for now. I likely will rejoin the party in February, after this.
