last year my friend kristen turned 21 and I got really dressed up and then I got really shitfaced and passed out at our friend Jeremy's house. I woke up having like puked on his carpet and I couldn't tell what time it was, just that the other people were sleeping. I couldn't go back to sleep and so I got a glass of water and turned on the tv because I was still drunk and it was about 4 am (presumably) and I needed to go back to sleep. When I turned on the television a kenneth anger film was on and I thought I was in an alternate universe that was really scary. I wasn't even on drugs or anything. It was fucked. up.
oh yeah i should mention that they put me in a small room that was just stacks and stacks of media, like hundreds of vhs tapes. It was fucking weird.
I think it was not so much that a television station decided to air a Kenneth Anger film, but more that the conditions in which you found yourself gave rise to a Kenneth Anger film appearing on television.
