Cars, half-price. Not a bad idea, as it would likely do a better job of keeping suppliers, dealers, etc. operating rather than simply giving a bunch of dough to the guys at the top and hoping for the best. But there are some real environmental issues and trade agreement breaches to contend with.

So, maybe not. Still, nice to see some demand-side solutions getting discussed. Why we should continue to give lotsa lotsa dough to the very guys who screwed everything up is beyond me.

Also, how about moving health care off of the books for the Big Three? That would help the bottom line. No, that's socialism which would hurt businesses! Out of my way, government! (Just give me the cash.)
