And this isn't even really nostalgia, because I watch and love this movie as much today as I did when I was a kid. But when I was a kid, this movie was absolutely central to my life as movies go. Other people I know my age have said the same thing.
When I was a kid, I really identified with the protagonist Kevin. I still do.

Ya man, me too. To all of what you said. Also I might add that it scared ths shit out of me, but I still loved it.
Time Bandits is a wonderful film. Adventure, midgets, evil. what's not to like.
