"CLAYTON -- A judge sentenced Kevin Johnson this morning to die by lethal injection for the murder of a Kirkwood police officer on July 5, 2005." [link]
This isn't necessarily some sort of anti-death penalty plea, nor am I arguing that one of these crimes was "more heinous" than the other. Both of these guys are murderers.
But the difference in venues, roughly a 41 minutes' drive from each other, was a difference of life and death. Something is seriously wrong.
